Like many other events scuppered by the pandemic, this year marked the full return to Tameside Pride at Cheetham Park in Stalybridge on July 16^th.  Hosted by Daniel Westwood, the theme to the year’s event was ‘”Back Together With Pride”. 

Artists performing included the hugely popular Eurovision superstar herself Nicki French on stage at the event. The day-time free-to-all event was opened by the Civic Mayor of Tameside, Councillor Mike Glover with Mayoress Anne Gordon. There was also a market with stalls from a range of LGBT+-supportive organisations, a kid’s playground, and a food/refreshment area.
