Dukinfield Library hosted an art exhibition by Bulgarian artist Eduard Dobrev who showcased his incredible range of acrylic, watercolour and oil paintings. Eduard, who is currently based in Droylsden, was delighted with the reception. We asked what was his inspiration? “Basically, it is inspired by nature and the places I have visited over the past couple of years. I’m motivated to carry on painting and I’m aware many artists stop because they don’t have the awareness or outlets but I’m not stopping. I’m trying to show people that someone like me in their 20’s can do it if they focus on their art. The support from family is very important and from teachers in school as well. Starting at school is a good base to begin your art journey and then build your ambition and motivation.”
