Returning for its 4th year, Rock The Foodbank took place at Stalybridge Labour Club on Friday 18th November. Tameside’s best original music festival organised by Councillor Sam Gosling was staged to benefit Barty’s Food Bank and raised an amazing £1203.40!  Councillor Gosling said: “We had lots of great bands all playing free to support the food bank which is needed more than ever.  For the first couple of year’s we raised money for the Trussell Trust and with me helping Steven get his cabin for the foodbank alongside the Labour Club it made sense to change it this year to support him.”

Tameside Radio’s Dave Sweetmore introduced a wide range of performers that included New Revolution, Jacob Reddy, FREEDA and the debut gig for Plastic Heart.
