Civic Mayor Councillor Janet Cooper and Consort Mr Dennis Fitzpatrick were invited by Ashton Town Team to visit the new monthly Artisan Market at the end of May. Organised by The Market Co in association with Tameside Markets, the first two events have already proved hugely successful and has been a great addition to the town. Councillor Bill Fairfoull, Deputy Chair of Ashton Town Team, joined the civic party as they met some of the stall holders and Director of The Market Co, Denise Valente.

The next Ashton Artisan Market will be taking place on June 26^th.
