The Restaurant at Tameside One, Wellington Road, Ashton-under-Lyne, hosted the first face to face Women In Business event in September since March 2020.  Tameside Women In Business, the networking forum launched in 2018 by Carol Parker from Bromleys provides a wonderful opportunity for women in business, education and the commercial sector to expand their contacts within the local community of Tameside. Each meeting includes a welcome drink, a buffet and a guest speaker giving an insight into a relevant subject.

Although the restaurant had hosted the meeting previously it was the opportunity of Adult Learners this time round to provide the multicultural buffet on offer. Some of the dishes served included Vegetarian Sushi, Mini Steak Burger “au cheval”, Aromatic Port Antonio Chicken and Vegetable Dutch Pot.
