The brand new state-of the-art swimming pool at Active Hyde is now open!

And it’s set to make health, fitness, and wellbeing waves across our communities for generations to come.

The six-lane, 25 metre pool has a smart new dedicated changing village, poolside spectator seating and accessible facilities to ensure EVERYONE can enjoy everything it has to offer.

It means you can now immerse yourself in a whole new all-round health, fitness, fun and wellbeing experience at Active Hyde including swim, spa, gym, classes and family water attraction.

Whether you’re looking to join the gym, try a new class, lap up the lengths in our new pool, enjoy a fun-filled Swim, Slide and Waves session in our popular Hyde Leisure Pool or relax and unwind in our thermal spa, there’s something for all the family.

Plus, you can enjoy delicious refreshments in our Fuel café.

Commissioned by Tameside Council, Hyde Pool has the capacity to offer swimming lessons to over a thousand children as well as provide a full programme of activities such as lane and general swimming and classes including Aqua Fit.

It’s also now the permanent home of Tameside’s historic Dukinfield Marlins Amateur Swimming Club and is available for aqua club hire and local school use.

Accessible facilities include a nationally registered Changing Places room with a hoist, shower bed and moveable sink for both centre visitor and community use.

It also features a poolside hoist, an additional Active Hyde disabled shower and toilet area and a unisex toilet block.
