

Following the huge success for their first Character Curry event back in February this year Hyde Fundraisers have announced the sequel on Tuesday February 17th. This year local voluntary group reached an impressive 40th anniversary milestone in supporting many good causes. They have been raising money for BBC Children in Need and other organisations since 1985, and in February groups that will be receiving donations will include The Ricky Hatton Foundation, Reuben’s Retreat and Willow Wood Hospice.
Taking place at the award-winning Indian Plaza in Audenshaw on Tuesday February 17th the ‘Character Curry’ fundraising event is being done in association with the restaurant and Councillor Denise Ward.
Steve Haines from Hyde Fundraisers said: “We are hoping people will be joining us with our replica characters for second helping of the Character Curry which will have a special visit from Wallace & Gromit, BB8, Predator, The Joker and others visiting your table for great photo opportunities. There’s also live music courtesy of performer Roger De Genero with some great ballads and also a great prize raffle too!”

The evening will see ticket holders enjoy delicious poppadoms, chutneys and a tasty curry to support some really good causes. Not only that, but you will also have a unique character dining experience with. It’s a great evening for all the family to enjoy and tickets are likely to get snapped up quickly.
