The much-anticipated Flower Festival returns to Willow Wood Hospice in 2026 for its 10th edition, taking place on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th May.

Guided by a wonderfully dedicated committee, this cherished annual event is set to bloom more beautifully than ever.

This year’s festival will be inspired by the enchanting world of Beatrix Potter, where beloved tales spring to life in petals and posies.

Visitors can wander through delightful floral displays inspired by Peter Rabbit, Jemima Puddle-Duck, Mrs Tiggy-Winkle and friends, each arrangement lovingly crafted by talented individuals and community groups. Expect plenty of hare-raising creativity, utterly quacking designs, and hedgehog-worthy masterpieces nestled among the blooms.

As you meander through the stunning exhibits, you can soak up the tranquility of the Hospice’s picturesque gardens – the perfect setting for a springtime celebration where every flower tells a story and compassion continues to blossom.

Many of the showcased displays will be available to purchase, giving you the opportunity to take home a little piece of the magic, while helping vital funds grow for patients in our care.

• Saturday 9th May: 10am – 4pm
• Sunday 10th May: 11am – 4pm

Entry is £3.50, with all proceeds supporting Willow Wood Hospice. Admission is free for children aged 12 and under.

Light refreshments will be available – perfect for enjoying a cup of tea and a sweet treat as you let the afternoon drift by.

Please note that parking at Willow Wood Hospice is restricted to patients, families, Blue Badge holders and our workforce. Willow Wood Close is a residents’ permit parking area. Alternative parking is available nearby at the Darnton Road Pay & Display car park (postcode OL6 6RL).
