FUNDRAISERS ANNOUNCE CHARACTER CURRY
Next year sees local voluntary group Hyde Fundraisers reach an impressive 40th anniversary milestone. The group, who have been raising money for BBC Children in Need and other good causes since 1985, will be launching their special year with an event at the award-winning Indian Plaza in Audenshaw. On Tuesday February 18th the group have organised a ‘Character Curry’ fundraising event in association with the restaurant and Councillor Denise Ward.
The evening will see ticket holders enjoy delicious poppadums, chutneys and a tasty curry to support BBC Children in Need and other good causes. Not only that, but you will also have a unique character dining experience with superheroes and sci-fi characters visiting your table for fantastic photo opportunities. It’s a great evening for all the family to enjoy and tickets are likely to get snapped up quickly. To book your place for adults it will be £20 with children under 10 years for £5 each you can call 0161 371 7474.
Hyde Fundraisers first started raising money for charity back in 1985 for BBC Children In Need and ever since then the volunteers have raised funds consistently for good causes with support from local organisations like Tameside Storage Centre, Star Cutouts Ltd, Tameside College and many others.
