Stalybridge Street Fest was back for another event in July, the Friday before the European Football Final! A Ferris wheel featured with the attractions that also included performance dance and The Blaze Streetdance Academy.
The events are funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund for Communities and Place, which was awarded to Tameside Council to improve public realm, greenspaces and support cultural events across the borough.
Running since 2021 – with a tried and tested formula of family fun, live music and tasty food and drink – Street Fest has really helped bring out the local community and generate footfall and civic pride for the town. The early evening event will take place from 5-9pm on the second Friday of the month, with the November date to be confirmed but it will move to support the town’s Christmas events.
