Various events took place to celebrate this year’s International Women’s Day.

For International Women’s Day 2024, Bromley’s Solicitors joined forces with GM Business Growth Hub, Tameside Council and Build a Business to deliver a Brunch and Learn Event in Tameside. Joined by Civic Mayor of Tameside, Cllr Tafheen Sharif, the event was an excellent opportunity for women to get together, network and celebrate their achievements. There was also an opportunity to find out about and access fully funded business support from the GM Business Growth Hub.

At Dukinfield Town Hall Cllr Tafheen Sharif partnered with the Umeed (Hope) women’s group to organise an Ascot-themed celebration to raise funds for her nominated charities. Ladies were dressed as they would for the famous racecourse’s royal enclosure – if they wish – including of course a hat.
