Tameside Beer Festival, now in its 11th year, is moving to a new venue for 2023 – the iconic Hyde Town Hall. This well-loved Tameside fundraising fixture will be held on Friday and Saturday, 22 and 23 September at Hyde Town Hall, Corporation Street, Hyde, SK14 1AL, opening at 12 noon and closing at 11 pm each day.

Tameside Rotary President Steve Knowles said: “The urgent repair works at Stalybridge Civic Hall meant we had to seek a new home for our beer festival. So we are delighted that for 2023 we can hold the beer festival at Hyde Town Hall. Our volunteers are confident that we can make it ‘pitcher perfect’ for the event which averages around 1000 visitors. We are hop-timistic that with the support of the Tameside community, we will continue to raise funds, through this event, for good causes which this year will include the Anthony Seddon Fund and the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI)”.

Entry to the beer festival will cost £3 (payable on the door) and beer/drinks tokens will be available for purchase and visitors will be able to select from a range of forty or so beers, lagers, wines, ciders. Refreshments will be provided including a menu selection provided by the Delights of India. The entertainment line-up includes Oliver Vaudrey, Parkbridge, Company of Strangers, Pattison Fogg and the Potcheen Chasers.

Tameside Rotarians are hoping you will join them to say ‘cheers’ to the beers and to raise a glass to make this year’s event a huge success in its new venue.
