Wing Walking and Made In Manchester Astley sports field Dukinfield.

We call our chat group MIF – a spoof from the film Mission Impossible. We all know the films are full of action and the craziest stunts, ok we don’t do what agent Hunt does hanging off cliffs, jumping off buildings and explosions. As a charity we do like to give out our dares, the last few years have seen us zip wire off slate mines and do a 15,000 feet parachute jump plus marathon runs etc. Guests who have took our missions have included Tameside Radio, Narrow Margin a local band, MP Andrew Gwynne, Made In Manchester Team and not forgetting Italian Wolverine. Some might say some we’re out of our comfort zone and completed them.

2022 what a dare! MP Andrew Gwynne and Jenny East have accepted this year’s mission wing walk and loop the loop at very high speeds and whoever else decides to join in one hell of a ride on an old-fashioned aeroplane.

Made In Manchester have given Florence a stage this year at Astley Sports Centre on May 28th in Dukinfield making an awareness for Florence and raising funds. Go to our page Fund Raising For Florence on Facebook, press the link, buy a ticket, an amazing percentage goes to Florence! The line up is amazing for music, kid’s entertainment, food, and VIP areas. We will be there with our buckets so watch out for us.

All of this is taking us to new heights excuse the pun! Thank you to the public, Team Florence and guests who have made everything possible to make memories we thank About Tameside, Tameside Correspondent, Tameside Radio and the Tameside Reporter and Manchester Evening News helping to get our stories out.

Thank you kindly Massimino Malacrino
